Friends from the Road Part 1

This is a feature I hope to continue throughout the trip as we continue to meet really great people. This way, people back home can see who we're hanging out with, and the people themselves can feel good about being a part of our blog. Here are some family members we've recently hung out with.

AUNT MO
Name: Maureen Tooher
Relation: Lizz's Aunt
Location: Denver, CO
Likes: Living by the mountains, giving accurate driving directions, paying money to almost die rafting down the Grand Canyon
Dislikes: Boulder hippies, the idea of driving three hours to a balloon festival, meteorology.
Reasons to love: will show you mountains and scenic panoramic lookouts, has done more trips in the past 5 years than you have in your lifetime, will treat you to a round of the strongest margaritas this side of the Mississippi


UNCLE JIM
Name: James Rauch
Relation: Mike's uncle
Location: Omaha, Nebraska
Likes: going to the local Y, National Geographic, popcorn, and other things all Rauch's enjoy
Dislikes: Kim's liberalism, hangovers, music that is too loud
Reasons to love: will leave food and all other necessary items out for you, has a well stocked liquor cabinet, is friends with someone called "The Judge."

Cousin Brad
Name: Bradley Rauch (not sure if it actually is Bradley or just Brad, but it's fun to say)
Relation: Mike's cousin
Location: Omaha, Nebraska
Likes: supporting musicians, his children, collecting unusual insects that happen across his path
Dislikes: bands who's music makes your body vibrate, getting up to work, shaving
Reasons to love: will find music festivals for you to play at, has excellent golf cart driving skills, will give you his camping equipment
